In your reading journals, in place of a regular entry, define point of view and the major types of point of view. Also, define foreshadowing.
To help you review, watch this BrainPop video and take the quiz! Print out or email me your quiz results to fill a missing journal! ssaunders@mayfieldschools.org

For the next two weeks, a book project graphic organizer can take the place of a journal entry. (The pink graphic organizer can count for 2 journals…one per side completed).Â
Monday will be another opportunity to post book reviews or writing to the moodle site!  Bring your materials so that you can make the most of your time!

BY FRIDAY=Complete Book Review Graphic Organizer…be ready to type it!Â
(If you want to use Friday’s lab time to post writing pieces to the moodle, you may type your review at home and save to a flash drive. That way, you can simply paste it to the moodle and spend the remainder of the class period working on other pieces.)
Adventure Team
Fundraiser
One part of our team’s mission is to engage in philanthropic projects that instill in the students a respect for community and a willingness to help others. Our primary philanthropic event this year will be raising money for Cleveland’s Alta House.  The Alta House, located in Little Italy, provides services for the elderly such as transportation, nutrition and meal programs, friendly visitation, and recreational activities. They also serve the youth and community with after-school activities, art programming, field trips, and tutoring. The funds we raise will help keep these programs strong and will also assist in other Alta House community outreach efforts.Â
