MOODLE REVIEWS
Remember, EACH time you finish a book at home or at school, post a review to the moodle site!
- Go to moodle.mayfieldschools.org; choose “Middle School,” then “Ms. Wensyel,” then sign in with your username and password
- Under Bookshelf, choose the genre of your book and click it
- Click the Edit tab
- Add the title of your book in [square brackets] in alphabetical order on the list without deleting anything…don’t forget the brackets! That’s what turns it into a link! IF SOMEONE ALREADY REVIEWED THE BOOK, SEE THE DIRECTIONS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE!
- Click “Save”
- When the page refreshes, your title should have a ? by it
- Click the ? to go to your link and add your text
- For best results, copy and paste from a saved Word document. This way you can use spell check and word count tools! Don’t forget to click SAVE when done!
* Make sure you have included everything listed on the rubric and have edited your writing carefully! Then fill out the top of a rubric and hand it in, so I know to check the moodle for your new post!
Has someone already reviewed your book?
- Do not post another link…you’ll delete the other person’s work!
- Go to your book’s genre on the book shelf
- Click on your book
- When the other person’s review pops up, click the EDIT tab
- Without deleting the existing post, type [Post by Your Name] at the top of their post…don’t forget the square brackets!
- Click save
- There should be a ? next to the link you created…click it.
- This will take you to your own personal link where you can post your review
- Look at Unwind under science fiction as an example
