If you like books by the author Barbara Park, then you will LOVE Mick Harte Was Here. It is about a boy named Mick Harte and his sister Phoebe. They have fights once in a while, but they love each other. When the tragic accident happened Phoebe was devastated. The two of them had so many great memories together; an example would be when Mick put a rubber eyeball into some meat, his mom freaked out. There are some very sad parts in this book, which are then made into funny or happy moments. To find out the devastating tragedy that happened to Mick, you will have to read this great book.

This book is sad in the begging but after words it ends really good!
This book is really sad. If I was Phobe and I had a time travel machine i would go back in time and take his bike home. If i couldn’t do that I would be nicer to him before he died. It makes me cry to see Phobe was so mean to Mick before he died.It also makes me cry to see thatshe hated him so much until he died. Then she started to feel good about Mick when he died. It made me happy to see that Nanny from Flordia made them eat at the tablr again. She was doing them a real favor even though she didn’t know that she did.
this book is sooooo sad but its still a good book i do recomend it to kids that havent read it yet it also teaches you a good leason that leason is to always wear your helment when your riding your bike. so what are you waiting for read the book
Wow, this book sounds so good , but so sad. If I was in that situation I don’t know what I would do. Everybody really should where a helmet on their bike.
