Next Science Test is Wednesday, 4/28 April 16, 2010
Posted by mnewman in : Uncategorized , comments closedOur next science test will likely be on Wednesday, 4/28. Students can read text page 14-18. Students will complete 6 flashcards on Monday, 4/19 for homework. Next week, students will complete an additional 15 flashcards (some are definitions and some are review questions). Students should review all work sheets.
For the test, students should know the following:
1. planets in order from the sun
2. study the 3 planet matches in your folder
3. all flashcards
4. compare inner and outer planets
5. relationship among universe/galaxy/solar system
6. Earth’s revolution/rotation and how these movements relate to seasons and day/night
7. leap years

2. Study for next test (date to be announced–test in the next one and a half to two weeks) each night at home. Review all sheets. Be able to name the planets in order from the sun. Review the three planet match sheets as there will be a planet match on the test. Be able to compare the inner and outer planets (same and different); use the Venn Diagram sheet to review this part. Know at least 3 reasons Earth is able to support life (oxygen atmosphere, lots of water, right amount of gravity, just the right amount of heat and light from the sun, terrestrial/land planet, etc.).
